This fairly small but still impressive waterfall is located in Brinscall Woods (also known as Wheelton Plantation). Hatch Brook is one of the streams that drains Black Brook, Calf Hey Brook, Rake Brook and Sour Milk Brook. Slightly tricky to get to as the track up to it can be quite muddy and slippery at times. My previous visit to this was a bit of a waste of time because there was barely a trickle, apparently this is quite common so try and time your visit when there has been recent rain. There are also some interesting industrial ruins and mining remains that you can explore nearby. Limited roadside parking is available nearby in Brinscall.
