There is a waterfall below a sluice and bridge at the top of Lead Mines Clough, which is still only about half way up “Limestone Clough” to give the larger area its proper name. It is close to where a path comes from Jepson’s Gate and just below the junction of the Devil’s Brook and Limestone Brook. The waterfall is usually unimpressive due to little water flow but the drop is quite good, formed by the ledge of a geological fault as are most of the natural falls in this area.
A good waterfall to take a look it if you’re exploring the lead mines, or on the way to Round Loaf.
